Common Questions

We understand that a pool fence is a large investment and that many of our clients have questions...

What is the difference between Full and Semi Frameless Glass?

Full Frameless Glass is a glass panel supported by two feet called spigots.

Semi Frameless Glass is a glass panel supported either side by aluminium posts.

*Please Note:

As of 1st October 2021 - We will no longer be installing Semi Frameless Glass Fencing due to the stock being phased out/discontinued.

Can you put Full Frameless Glass into dirt?

No BUT concrete footings can be installed to enable spigots to be installed in certain cases, a site visit would be required in this case.

Can I have a different colour aluminium?

Yes.  We can supply many different colour powder coatings to suit any colour scheme, although this is a custom order at an extra cost and can take up to 4-6 weeks to fabricate.

Do we have to have a contract?

Yes, if your agreed quote is over $3301 you will be required to sign a basic QBCC contract.  This covers both the client and the contractor.

Can I use hardwood posts instead of Aluminium?

Yes, if you require aluminium fencing you have a choice of aluminium or hardwood posts.

Does my fence come with a warranty?

As a family owned and run business, we are proud of our workmanship.

We are very approachable and always available for a chat should any problems arise.

We try our best to run our clients through the job and go over any potential problems that may pop up before the build date commences.

Any issues during the build should be addressed on handover.

However, there is NO warranty on Glass or any Brushed Satin hardware.

If a glass panel is broken after handover date, there is NO warranty and the owner is responsible for the cost of the replacement panel and install.

Does my fence need to be earthed?

Yes, if your fencing falls within the boundary of the earthing zone of 1.25m of the pools edge.

If your fencing does not fall within this zone then there is no need for earthing.

Your glass or aluminium fence will need to be earthed prior to pool installation by a qualified electrician installing conduits and cable along the fence line ready to be earthed once the fencing is installed.  Another option for earthing a glass fence is installing Insulated Spigot Covers at an extra cost so as not to conduct electricity through the metal spigots.

The best option can be discussed with our friendly team.
